Current Favourite Makeup Items

Hi loves! I’ve planned a completely different kind of post for today. I decided to share with you my current favourite makeup items! Keep on reading to find out why I love these products so much.

Anastasia Beverly Hills – Modern Renaissance Palette ($42)

The first thing on my list is my Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette. I’ve had this for a couple of months now and I’ve been using it so much. I love all the shades and especially the mix of mattes and shimmers. I think the colours are perfect for fall and the upcoming holiday season.

I wrote an entire review on this palette a couple of weeks ago which you can find here.

Morphe Brushes – 35T Palette ($23)

Next item is another eyeshadow palette. This one is not really a current favourite but more like an all time favourite. Anyone that knows me, knows that I love some good nude shades for my eyes. This Morphe 35T palette is the perfect palette for me. I, again, love the mix of matte and shimmer shades and I love that you can create so many different looks with just one palette.

The shadows feel very creamy and apply and blend very easily. I think it’s so easy to use and the pigmentation is incredible. Another thing I love about this palette is that it is so affordable. Only $23 for 35 (!!!) colours!

Physicians Formula – Butter Bronzer ($13.23)

This butter bronzer is absolutely amazing. It’s a drugstore product, which means it’s very affordable, but doesn’t seem like it at all. I use this every single day to add some colour to my very pale face. I think I love this because it’s so suitable for my pale skin.

It feels really buttery… duh! And it applies really easily. It doesn’t look orange and it’s really buidable which I love for a bronzer. It’s matte so you can even use this to shape your face!

MAC – Soft Frost ($34)

Yes, please! Just look at this beauty for a minute before you continue reading… I’ve been wanting to have this since March. I finally got my hands on it in August and I’ve been obsessed ever since. This MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish in the shade Soft Frost is the perfect highlighter for my fellow pale skin girls out there. These pictures don’t do the product justice because it’s so much prettier in real life.

The product applies so easily and leaves a blinding glow! It’s a white highlighter but it reflects lilacy. It looks kind of holographic to be honest. I LOVE! I use this to highlight my cheekbones, nose and lip but also to highlight the inner corner of my eye.

I’ve been loving highlighter on my no makeup days recently. It just adds a little glow to your bare, naked face and people won’t stop telling you you’re glowing!

Tarte – Paaarty ($34)

Okay, before I want to talk about this product, I just need to tell you there’s a little catch to this one. This is a Tarte blush I got as a birthday present from Sephora. The blush itself is available in 11 shades but just not this one. I’m sorry!

The way these Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes work is amazing. They are kind of powdery but not too much. They feel amazing on the skin and apply really easily. I think this colour is perfect for me since I don’t really like too much blush on me. This one is a pinkish-nude which is perfect.

Anastasia Beverly Hills – Veronica ($20)

Last, but definitely not least, is my favourite lippie at the moment: the ABH Liquid Lipstick in the shade Veronica. This lipstick stays on all day and is the perfect shade for me. It’s a little darker than a nude but still not ‘too much’.

Isn’t it funny how the shade looks completely different in the tube as to what it looks like swatched?! The swatch is what it looks like on my lips as well, which I like better than the shade in the tube. Luckily, haha!

Those were my current favourite makeup items. Let me know if you want more of these posts in the future!
