I was amazed by this highlighter so I decided to share a review of it with all of you guys!
Okay, so this review might not be for everyone out there since the store I bought it from is only located in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, Luxembourg and Poland.
As soon as I saw this Action Max & More Glow & Highlights palette, I knew I needed to get it. It reminded me a lot of the Anastasia Beverly Hills glow kits. There was a cool toned palette as well which looked really similar to the ABH Moonchild Glow Kit. I, however, decided to go with the warmer shades because I figured I would get more use out of these.
The palette has six different colours in it and I think most colours are very usable. They even gave every colour it’s own name like what most high-end brands do and I love it. Top row from left to right: Angel White, Summer Sigh and Gentle Peony. Bottom row from left to right: Pale Marble, Soft Sand and Lush Terra. I think the names are so cute!
The packaging looked, and felt, quite cheap to be completely honest. It is made of thin bendable plastic which makes it feel very cheap. I did however like the size of the palette. It’s quite thin but a little larger so that the pans are big enough for your brushes. That is a huge plus for me, I hate having to struggle to dip your brush into a small pan.
I decided it was time to swatch these beauties and wow, I was so surprised! I didn’t expect much since this palette was so cheap but look how pigmented they are! I think these look absolutely gorgeous. Colours from left to right: Lush Terra, Soft Sand, Pale Marble, Gentle Peony, Summer Sigh and Angel White. I love the diversity of glow this palette has, some are more pearly while others are more glittery.
The only downside to these highlighters is that they are quite chalky, meaning they have a lot of fall out. It is easy to wipe away with a brush though, so you should be fine!
I think these palettes are amazing. Especially if you think about the fact that they were only €2.49 for six shades! They obviously aren’t as good as an ABH palette or a Becca highlighter, but what else did you expect for the amount you pay. I would definitely recommend these to anyone.
Hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know what you think about these palettes!
